My desire to be your congressman started nearly 20 years ago when Democrat congressman Dave Obey was running roughshod all over the people of the 7th congressional district for over 40 years. I didn't like what I was seeing because it simply did not make sense. The people in the district were definitely not liberal minded and that was concerning to me. I'm not the kind of person to just sit around and hope things get better...thus my journey began. [History and conclusion coming soon]

My parents instilled in me high moral values, ethics and I learned from their life experiences. And just as they nurtured me in my childhood into the man that I am today, so too is it my turn to help them as the cycle of life is inevitable. When my parents asked in early February that they needed more dedicated care, I agreed. Being the only single and self-employed sibling, it had to be me. It was then that I decided I was going to run for congress for a fourth time. Don't get me wrong though, I was ecstatic that Tom Tiffany was going to run for governor and leave the seat wide open. It's just the means to run was not there. Well, the time is freed up now, the nomination signatures are in and the will and drive were always there. Excited for the opportunity to represent the good folk of the Wisconsin 7th congressional district.

Now I'm likely not going to have the millions of dollars flooding in from outside of the district to campaign with. But what I do have, which no other candidates has, is my ability to politically calm people down and articulate the current situation that many are exhausted over. This can be demonstrated by personally acquiring the nomination signatures of 1,000 people from all political backgrounds and at a high success rate. These are hard earned signatures going door to door and encountering many un-like minded people and convincing them that I'm the man for the job. It's a daunting task, yet it's fun and rewarding. I know that because of this accomplishment and the promises that I've made, that I can truly say and mean 'that I will represent everyone regardless of political party.' And as I tell everyone I've met, 'you may not agree with me all the time on how I may vote, but I will provide you with real facts so that you have the opportunity to understand my decision process.'
