Issues facing Americans today

My stance on the issues facing America today are based on my conservative values, decades of research, common sense, and gently massaged by the opinions of the good folks of the Wisconsin 7th congressional district as I asked over 1,000 people, both Republicans and Democrats, for their nomination signatures in order to properly represent them in Congress. They are in order frequency of occurence on the nomination road over the last 45 days.

Immigration : ICE : Border Wall

I WILL VOTE 100% ON ANY LEGISLATION THAT PROTECTS LEGAL CITIZENS OF AMERICA. This stance was shared by nearly everyone I came across on the nomination road. Even most naysayers, once they where presented with the fact that most deportations are justified by the violation of the Natural Pathways Rule, shared some agreement that America's interests need to come first.

Iranian conflict : High gas prices

I WILL VOTE 100% ON ANY LEGISLATION THAT PROTECT ALL AMERICANS AND THEIR BEST INTERESTS. This issue is very complex, intricately linked and resulted in the most heated exchanges on the nomination road as the topic is mixed with facts, misinformation, conspiracies, selfishness, and partisan politics. It is quite clear that we all want cheap gas. High gas prices came as a result of executive action on, what I believe was, a viable threat to our nation and that should never be tolerated. What needs to come from this event is consumer price protections in times of national conflict or war. Why should unburdened corporations profit off the suffering masses?

Guns : 2nd Amendment rights

I WILL ALWAYS VOTE TO PROTECT OUR CONSTITUTIONALLY GUARANTEED RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS. There is no exceptions to this statement and a majority on the nomination road agree with this right.

Epstein files : Protecting our children

I WILL VOTE FOR LEGISLATION THAT SPEEDS ALONG THE PROSECUTION AND RELEASE OF THOSE IN THE EPSTEIN FILES. This is a no brainer as over 1,000 people on the nomination road told me unanimously to do everything possible to 'Release the Files.' While this goes against the current politics of the Republican party, I cannot and will not go against those I am to represent. It is never acceptable to not seek justice when crimes are committed against children. Fortunately, most do not believe President Trump is immorally involved.

Affordability : Energy : Housing : Healthcare

I WILL USE MY FISCALLY CONSERVATIVE VALUES AND COMMON SENSE TO HELP FIND SOLUTIONS TO THE AFFORDABILITY ISSUE. The one thing I am not for is solving this vast problem at the expensive of others or taking campaign money from lobbying groups to sway my vote. Congress should be running 100's of industry leaders through their fact finding committees to discover all the facts and start taking action which is noticeably lacking.

Term Limits : Congress : Supreme Court

If the opportunity arises, I will vote to limit the terms of those in Congress and the terms of Supreme Court justices. This will take the work of many, as to limit these branches of government will take a constitutional amendment. As discussed on the nomination road by many, the consensus opinion is a maximum of 12 years for members of congress and I fully agree.
